WHAT DID YOU GET UP TO IN CLASS TODAY?
The opportunity to find out is just around the corner, and tickets go live to book Friday 5 November 2021, for which we'll post a link to our social media pages. What's happening?..The first ever Circus Works Student Gala at the Acorn Theatre Penzance, Sunday 28 November 2021 that's what.
Come and see your friend or your family member strut their stuff, and show you the extra ordinary skills and artistry they have achieved through training at the Circus Works.
Showtime starts at 4.30pm and this year includes aerial and ground based performances from the range of students and trainee's that attend classes held at local charity Cirque Du Ciel's (CdC) Circus Works Devoran, plus their south coast 'sister' sessions held weekly at the Acorn.
The show will begin with the youngsters, and showcase the adults from around 5pm, the performers this year will be representing freelance circus coaches Naomi Lewis, Ruth Hawkley, Lisa Truscott and the team at Sequoia Movement led by Sarah Taylor. The show will also include a short group act by some of the young people attending CdC's Home Ed Circus Mini's Troupe.
Keep your eye on our Socials for that link on Friday as places are limited, we know that everyone performing on the night will value your support. We are proud of each and every one of them, hope to see you there :-)
